Traffic exchange is one of the internet marketing tools. Its main goal is to drive enormous traffic to web sites. It involves the process of having members and allowing them to browse each other’s sites in order for their sites to be viewed as well. In this way, these members exchange traffic. Like every marketing tool, traffic exchange has its strengths and weaknesses. Knowing its fundamentals helps in managing this marketing tool properly to make it effective for the business. Almost all of the web site or online business owners desire free traffic to be directed to their site. This is because a lot of opportunities open when people get to view the site. From simple web visitors, people can be customers, potential customers or prospects, or just a simple additional contact for a marketing list; and all of these may not be possible without having traffic driven to a site. A very powerful website can be created, very compelling in every aspect. However, leaving the site along with other active sites online will not make any sense. How can an enticing site do its job when nobody sees it? This is the importance of engaging with traffic exchange. Joining it will surely bring traffic to a site, whatever type of business it is. In a nutshell, traffic exchange means exchanging traffic; viewing other sites in order for one’s site to be viewed as well. Credits are being earned as per site viewed. These credits determine how a member’s site will be viewed by other members, or how traffic will be directed to the site. The more credits a member has, the more traffic will be brought to the site. There are traffic exchanges that allow more than one URL or website to assign the credits to. Meaning, these will be the sites that will be programmed to be seen by the other members. In addition, there are other ways to earn credits aside from simply viewing other members’ sites. It is possible to have referrals where one can get bonus credits when somebody signs up for a traffic exchange under an account. There are also options to purchase credit packages if one finds it affordable, as well as referral packages. Membership upgrades are also available at a minimal cost in order to have a bigger percentage of credits when viewing a site. Moreover, there are 2 major types of traffic exchange; the manual traffic exchange and the auto traffic exchange. Manual traffic exchange involves people browsing each other’s sites to have their own sites viewed as well, gaining credits per time and effort exerted. Auto surf allows the computer to automatically surf member’s sites within the program without technically looking at the pages. With the auto traffic exchange, there is no guarantee that a site will really be viewed by humans as computers do its own clicking. With manual traffic exchange, it is certain that humans are the ones seeing the page within 15 to 30 seconds. These fundamentals are necessary in order to be acquainted with traffic exchanges. It is a good foundation in to know how to manage traffic exchange and make it a very effective marketing tool. Making use of its strengths is excellent. A traffic exchange is a site that caters to internet marketers who want to drive huge free targeted traffic to their web sites. This main goal makes it interesting for most of the internet marketers, especially the ones who cut on their budget. Traffic is the lifeblood of online businesses so it is important for every internet marketer to have an enormous part of it. Basically, a traffic exchange has a membership program where the members surf each other’s sites in order to gain credits. These credits are gained in ratio that differs for every traffic exchange. The credits earned shall be assigned to the member’s site; like appointing a person to be presented to a group of people. This process just keeps on rotating. This is the basic way a traffic exchange works. There are also other ways to gain credits in a traffic exchange. Having referrals lead to gaining the bonus credits per referral; more referrals mean more credits. Since most traffic exchanges have free memberships, upgrading would entitle the member to have more benefits such as having a bigger percentage of credits per site viewed. There are also options to purchase credits and even referrals if one finds it affordable. All of these are helpful in driving traffic to a site. In addition, joining a traffic exchange shows one’s site to possible prospect. Though everyone in the traffic exchange has the initial goal which is just to drive traffic to their site, there can still be a chance to catch attention and compel the viewers to be potential customers. Simply put, traffic exchange is also an avenue to reach out to people who might not have knowledge with a certain product or service. As the process involves viewing sites, traffic exchange is a way to check on the other businesses within the competition. Their tactics can easily be monitored as their landing page appears to express a part of their strategy. The competitors’ sites can also be checked through the links in their landing pages if one finds it necessary. This could greatly help in calibrating one’s own site among the competitors; and in deciphering how to develop his or her business model. Having streaming traffic is a good source of exposure. Once the business is exposed, people get familiar with it. Having huge traffic also means more contacts in the list, and more prospects. Having constant traffic flow also paves the way for the site to have higher ranks in the search engine optimization. This is very important because when people types in a keyword to search, they usually just take a look at the first page of the search engine optimization list. Being on top of the list is an opportunity to have more site visitors through the search engine. Traffic exchange really gives a lot of benefits to online businesses enrolled with it. This is why almost all of the successful internet marketers nowadays started with traffic exchange as their marketing tool. Utilizing the program properly would surely give great desired results. Long gone are the days of clunky, standalone, research tools. Having created over 15 best selling software applications for the internet marketing community, I like to think that I know what I'm talking about when it comes to creating tools that will save you time, and make you and your business a heck of a lot more money from the internet. After 8 months, and over $127,000 in development costs, we've created a new tool that revolutionizes the way keyword research and competition spying is done. Instead of downloading a bulky desktop application to your computer, you'll be downloading a very very small plugin that actually runs INSIDE of your web browser (Firefox). With this tiny plugin, you'll be able to uncover more helpful information about your competition, and how they're making money online, than you ever could with ANY other current tool on the market - and you'll be able to do it as you simply browse the internet! With the information PPC Web Spy provides, you'll be able to take a struggling internet business and almost instantly turn it into a profitable business! I'm sure you'll agree when I say that "keywords" are the backbone and foundation of an online business. Keywords are how people find your website. Without keywords, nobody would ever find your site, and purchase whatever it is you're selling. When broken down into its simplest form, what seperates a failing online business from a thriving one is that the thriving business knows EXACTLY which keywords will send "buyers" to their website. While, the failing internet business (99% of internet businesses) are blindly guessing which keywords to advertise with. Based on this extremely simplistic view, we know that in order to have a successful internet business, we MUST know with 100% certainty which keywords are going to send potential buyers to our website - people that are actually looking to purchase whatever it is we're selling. Now, the question is... How in the world do we know which keywords to advertise and base our business off of? With PPC Web Spy, you'll be able to uncover all of the keywords that successful businesses are already making money with. Then, you'll be able to take those keywords and advertise your own business. Click the link to learn more! if you want your business to flourish and make tons of money then you MUST get this program! Traffic is to websites what air is to human beings, they can’t exist without it. Site promotion is the one challenge every webmaster faces, no matter how skilled he is in his craft. Regardless of the aim of the website, whether it is promoting products, information with Adsense ads, forums, or whatever, qualified visitors is what it’s after. There are a number of facets to website promotion, each of which is important and each of which can be viewed as a kind of campaign to lure visitors to the site. The first and most fundamental aspect of website promotion is getting in good with the search engines. By far the most sought-after and worked for thing when it comes to website promotion is a good page ranking with the search engines. That is, to be listed on the first page of results when a search is done for something related to the site. This is such a challenge that it is safe to say that most websites do not get their traffic from direct searches, since any search can give anything up to a hundred million or more results. But webmasters still put a lot of effort into search engine optimization (SEO), and rightly so, since SEO makes it easier for a website to be indexed and can result in a higher page ranking. Then there is paid advertising. Most search engines have a paid advertising scheme where people pay to have their ads displayed on various websites all over the internet, as well as (and perhaps more importantly…) on the search results page. This means that even though a website does not have a first, second, or third page ranking, it can still feature on those pages in the form of an ad. The internet is undergoing a bit of a shift in character at the moment. It is becoming more interactive and community based, as is clearly demonstrated by all the social-oriented sites like Facebook, Squidoo, MySpace, and Twitter, as well the explosion of the blogosphere. This means that people want to interact with others on the web, and that word-of-mouth has again become one of the dominant means of communication. Anyone hoping to succeed on the web must harness he power of these networks in promoting sites and products. The internet has turned into much more than the creators had intended. It seems that just about everyone has their own blog or website these days. The nice thing is that the internet is filled with people who have all sorts of interests, and that makes just about any topic interesting to someone. Most bloggers enjoy having readers. Well, I guess every blogger enjoy it. The problem is that they don't know how to get the traffic, and that is very frustrating. The easiest way to get traffic is through the search engines. It is easy if you know what you are doing. Basically the search engines do one thing; they rank websites and blogs after which is more relevant to the search made by the user. This makes our strategy pretty simple: get as high in the search engine rankings as possible for as many relevant keywords as possible. The two most important factors in ranking a website or a blog are content and keyword anchored backlinks. The content you have to write yourself. DO NOT copy content from other websites. When it comes to the "keyword anchored backlinks", a lot of people don't know what that is. The short explanation is that it is a link pointing to your site from another site that has some of your keywords as anchor text. An example: A site that is debating what soccer shoes to choose would like to have some of their links using the anchor "how to choose a soccer shoe" or "which soccer shoe should you choose". The beauty of the keyword anchored backlinks is that this is the factor that the biggest search engine, Google, values the most. Therefore a lot of the effort put into building links should also involve creating good phrases for the anchors. Many articles on the web address the "how to get backlinks" subject. You should read as many as you can of these to get a good picture of how you can get these links. Traffic is the lifeblood of any internet based endeavor. Without web traffic, the webmaster or business’ time and efforts are almost wasted. Yet with so much competition in every area, it can be a challenge to generate any sort of meaningful traffic. For those who are just starting out in the world of web design or internet-based business, it can be near impossible to make a success. Most people give up about as soon as they’ve started. But the prospects needn’t be so grim. There are a few relatively simple ways to increase website traffic, the key component to all of them being perseverance. One of the best ways to generate traffic to your website or blog (and targeted traffic at that…) is through article marketing. Whatever your area of interest or whatever your website is catering for, you can write short articles about it. As an example, if you have a shop selling flowers and related things, and you’ve recently set up a website, you can increase website traffic (and therefore possible customers…) by writing short articles for an article directory. These articles can be about anything related to your business. They could be about how to make a flower arrangement, of which flowers to use for which occasions, or how to care for your flowers at home; anything related to your area of expertise. These articles then get posted in the article directory and get circulated around the internet as people reprint them for their own website content. “How does this increase traffic to my site?” you may ask. Well, when you post your article in an article directory, you get to include your details at the bottom of the article. These details have to be included in every reprint of that article. So you will, at the bottom of every article, include some information about yourself and your business. And this will obviously include the URL of your website. In this way your website will be promoted all over the internet, and will get targeted traffic sent to your website. Traffic is what makes the internet marketing world go round. Without it, it will be like the shape of a square that does not roll but just stays as it is. When starting with online business, or when venturing into internet marketing having tight budget, there must be a way to generate traffic to a site that would fit with the budget. One good way to continue with internet marketing even with a low budget is through traffic exchange. The goal of the traffic exchange programs is to build traffic internet marketers dream of. Moreover, it is very easy to be a part of a traffic exchange program. A site owner just needs to sign up for a program and can start working with it in a few minutes. As the title says, traffic exchange is all about exchange traffic. Every member needs to view or surf the web for other member’s sites to earn credits that shall be assigned to the site desired to be promoted. The more time a member devotes on viewing sites, the more chances gained for his or her own site to be seen by others. Almost all of the traffic exchange programs have free memberships. Upgrades or credit packages are just available for purchase when desired. It is really a good way to promote the site or drive traffic to it. Chances are, people browsing on sites for the initial reason of getting the credits to have their sites seen by others as well could get enticed by the site entrance page or landing page. A simple surfing could end up with a purchase. A better example could be like going to a place to buy something. While on the way to the stall where the initial reason for going to the store is located, there is something appealing that stands on the way. The consumer then looks at it, touches it, and sees that it is something good to buy as well. Before heading back home, that other product is also purchased along with the initial product the consumer needs. This is how it also works with traffic exchange. In relation, the traffic exchange to join must be manual traffic exchange. There is another type of traffic exchange which is the auto traffic exchange. With manual traffic exchange, it is certain that the traffic generated to it is from humans and not just machines. It works as the traffic exchange discussed earlier. The auto traffic exchanges bring traffic generated by machines. It entails a high number of hits to a site but does not depict humans checking on the site but just machines or programs that can do it effectively. In this case, the chance to get a potential customer is lost. Having these in mind, a traffic exchange program is one of the best internet marketing tools. Aside from the fact that it is cost effective, it surely brings the desired amount of traffic to the site. The only thing to consider is to have enough time and effort to give for surfing in order to get a huge amount of it as well. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com Purchase Web Site Traffic Options - Do They Provide Guaranteed Results?dfd0 comments
efore you purchase web site traffic, there are things about this technique that you need to know first. Does purchased traffic really generate online traffic? Where can you buy online traffic? Are the results guaranteed? To find out more about this concept, read on.
What is purchased online traffic? There are a number of online entities that offer services wherein web site owners are allowed to purchase or buy traffic to increase the number of visitors to their sites. These entities provide webmasters not just with ordinary online visitors, but audiences whose profiles are suited to the nature or content of the site. For example, a site selling skin care products will mostly seek women as visitors. And not just any type of woman, but women who have the means to purchase the products and those who belong to age groups who are most likely to be concerned about their looks and their skin. In short, these sellers will provide targeted traffic or specific audiences to the owner that paid for it. What you will get Providers of purchased traffic usually use pop-up ads or banners to advertise a particular web site. These ads appear on other sites visited by people whose profiles fit the target of the client web site. Keywording is another way by which these sellers generate traffic for sites that made the purchase. The provider will ask the buyer to list keywords or phrases related to the products and services being sold at the buyer's site. When an online searcher type in these words, a window will appear promoting the site and inviting the searcher to go to the advertised site. Other methods Aside from the common pop-ups, banners and keywords, web site operators can also buy expired domain traffic. In this option, a buyer can buy from online registrars traffic that used to belong to another site which has already expired. The links from this expired site and the traffic that it continues to generate will be redirected to the purchaser. This, supposedly, is a guaranteed way of providing traffic to the buyer's web site. This is commonly referred to as legacy traffic. Another method is country profiling. If the buyer is seeking a particular nationality or would like to target audiences living in a particular country or area, then the provider will use his or her connection with other sites and require searchers to identify their location. If the online visitor's location matches the requirement of the buyer, then an invitation to the buyer's web site will appear. Perhaps the most popular way of purchasing traffic is to sign up with a pay per click program such as Google Adwords and pay for sponsored ads to appear in the listings of that search engine. You can bid on keywords and get a sponsored listing entry. When a visitor clicks on your ad, you get charged and in exchange you receive a targeted visitor. This is a great way of driving traffic but beginners need to be careful as expenses can quickly rack up when running campaigns. Before you purchase web site traffic, make sure that you have clearly identified your target audience. Look for a service that you feel most comfortable with and a provider that offers reasonable fees. By: Dean James Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com Website Traffic Finder - How To Get Targeted Audience To Visit Your Site0 comments
Let's say your website is selling home decors and furniture. Primarily, your target audience should be homeowners, women or mothers who are likely to decorate homes and professional interior decorators. Although having a lot of people viewing your website is not a bad idea, your main focus should be who is doing the viewing. Your target traffic should be online searchers who are most likely to purchase from your site.
Get your target audience interested So how do you get your target audience to view your site? How do you make potential buyers take that first step? First, advertise. Online advertising doesn't really cost that much. The key is to identify the places where your advertisements will get the most attention. You can reach your target traffic by advertising on sites where these people are likely to surf. Web pages that have related interests as your site should be your main focus if you are to advertise your online wares. Get a high search engine rank If you don't want to spend too much money on advertising, then you had better get your site on top of major search engine lists for your target terms. Make sure that whenever an online visitor type the keywords associated with your content, he or she will see your site at or near the top of the list or at the first page of a search engine. You can achieve this through search engine optimization. Use keywords that are most likely to be used by online visitors in the title tags of your pages and in the content of your web site. Get affiliated Having online affiliations will also help your cause. Get your site mentioned or bookmarked on other sites by building an online social network, joining online forums, having a presence in major social pages and by talking about your site when chatting with other online users. Get as much exposure as possible by being active on the Internet. Post comments, chat and communicate with other web site operators. Effective website traffic finder techniques identify target audiences. You just don't focus on getting the most number of visitors, you also focus on luring targeted traffic or suitable audiences to your site. Dedication and hard work are the best tools in getting that targeted traffic to flow into your site. By: WinsonYeungAs
in any other business, it's important to gain targeted website traffic when you're selling products and services online. Fortunately for most of us, the search engines are specifically designed to attract targeted visitors to our websites. That is, of course, if we're listed, and preferably, ranked on the first page of searches. Beginner internet entrepreneurs might think that getting included in rankings will need a continuous flow of cash. While getting paid listings can get websites listed initially (that is, while it's not fully developed as a website yet), all internet marketers should make sure that they design every aspect of their website according to good SEO rules. Organic search engine optimization If you're not in a hurry, it's actually possible to get listed on search engines without paying a cent. This is through organic or natural search engine optimization methods. Organic SEO involves the employment of keyword-rich web page text, easily navigable web pages, and effective domain names. Keywords and keyword density When you're writing the text for your website, you need to make sure that it is informative, spotless, and it contains all the significant keywords in any search query. For example, if you're selling watches, you need to include the word "watch", "genuine" or "authentic" and the brands that you're selling online. Of course, these texts should be human-friendly as much as it is search engine-friendly. You should include the keywords only when it's natural and necessary for you to do so. If you embedded the text with too many keywords, it can sound unpleasant and be recognized as trash text by most search engines. Most black hat SEO tactics include keyword embedding, which could ban the website from search engines permanently. Domain name and layout When you're choosing a domain name for your website, make sure that you keep it short and easy to remember. The website's domain name should also include the popular keywords you've researched about as much as possible. Try not to change your domain and URL address so much because the age of the domain name is included in ranking considerations. Try to get the right domain name from the very beginning, and stick to it. When it comes to website layout, you should keep it simple. Avoid putting in frames because it "traps" search engine crawlers. Frames won't help you get ranked on top of popular search engines. Minimally use flash animations and photos in your web page because these load slowly. Graphics are also not the best magnets for search engine spiders. As an internet entrepreneur, you would want to get targeted website traffic. It's not enough to just want to attract visitors to your website. You would want to catch the attention of people who would be interested in the product or service you're selling. This is the reason why it is very important for anyone in this business to know the basics of organic SEO. SEO or search engine optimization is a method of website development that makes websites both human- and search engine-friendly. When you're developing your website, you must never ever underestimate the power of words. More than fancy photos and flash animation, the text that is included in your web pages play the biggest role in search engine ranking. This is because search engine "crawlers" or sensors analyze words or text before anything else. Remember, the internet is designed for fast and democratic information. It doesn't matter if you're the prime authority in any field of endeavor. If your website doesn't contain any significant keywords that "categorize" the subject matter or product you're selling, you're bound to rank low in search engines. What you need to do is to research about the most popular keywords related to the product or service you're selling. You can either write reviews or informative articles about your website's subject matter or have someone do the articles for you. Remember, you need to know the difference between proper and non-proper SEO first. Non-proper SEO or overstuffing the articles with keywords might get you ranked higher faster, but once you've been found out, you will be banned from the most popular search engines online which include Google and Yahoo. If you get targeted website traffic that lasts, you need to keep to proper SEO techniques. How do you know if they're white hat or not? It's pretty simple: Proper SEO tactics are attractive and useful to both the human visitors of your website and the search engine crawlers. Steps to maximize website traffic are quite easy to execute. Some might think that to increase the number of visitors to a site, a web master would need to shell out a lot of money to advertisers. Although online advertising does help, there are still a lot of ways to accomplish high online traffic without having to break one's bank account. Here are some of them. 1) Content, content, content. Good writing is very important if a website is to increase its visitor traffic. When we say good writing, this actually means concise, easy-to-read content. Most online visitors don't bother reading whole articles so it is better to write short but informative pieces. Also, keep track of popular issues and topics and update the content of your site accordingly. 2) High placement in search engines. Online searchers usually don't bother to look into subsequent pages when they type their search words on a search engine. Their focus would likely be on the sites listed on the first page so it is important to get your site placed on the top or near the top of major search engines' lists. You can achieve this by using keywords that are most likely to be used by people searching online. Put yourself in the shoes of the online searcher and think what words he or she would use when looking for particular information or use a keyword research tool to determine the level of interest and competition. Putting these keywords in the title tags of your articles is the first step in helping you rank in search engines. This is part of it but not the whole enchilada when it comes to SEO. 3) Buy online adverts. Advertising can also help increase traffic to your web site. Pop-up advertisements, text ads, banner advertisements and bulk electronic mails are some of the common online advertisements that can help generate online traffic. You can also explore offline advertising options like print ads. 4) Get affiliated. Get your site connected to other sites with similar content. Having an online social network will help your site become more popular and relevant and will bring it into the awareness of online visitors. Getting affiliated means that you also need to mention the sites you are affiliated with on your web site which could benefit both parties. 5) Avoid clutter. Too much content, too many pages, too many windows and too many pop-ads can ruin your site. An online page that is too cluttered will likely discourage visitors from returning to the site. Keep your web page as simple as possible. Choose designs and fonts that make it easy for visitors to read your content. Don't overdo it in terms of sections. Keep your site's focus limited and don't try to cram too much information in it. To maximize website traffic, a webmaster does not need to make everything complicated. Just keep everything simple and organized and you're halfway there. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com Making Money With Twitter - 3 Important Tips0 comments
By: Andy Brooks
Feel like making money with twitter? You can! Twitter is perhaps the fastest growing social networking tool around, and it's very possible to quickly get twitter followers you can make money of. But how to do it. Here are some handy tips. 1. Direct selling. You can send your followers tweets about a good offer you have, or this cool affiliate product. Of course you earn commission on those. You put the link to the offer in your tweet and some of your followers will click on it, and perhaps even better, buy the product so you earn commission. It's a little tricky to do all this in 140 characters (the maximum length of a 'tweet'), but you can make your affiliate or product link shorter by using a 'shortening tool', available online, such as bit.ly, budurl.com or tinyurl.com. Check them out. Make sure you also mention the link in your public profile that people get to see. I'm not 100% sure if all this works. I do, however, have some evidence for myself that direct sales work, albeit not with overwhelming success. But still, my modest free money is still free money! 2. The second way to make money with twitter is alert people to a freebie opportunity. Simply put a link in your tweet to a CPA (=Cost-Per-Action) offer. CPA might be a whole new world for you, and you may need to read up on it. Google it. With CPA offers you can promote offers that would earn you a small amount, perhaps a dollar or two. The good thing is that people often only have to leave an email address or ZIP code, and then they get a chance to win an iPod, or win a certain amount of money for free shopping or whatever. This stuff can do well for you, especially if the offer is related to your interest. This method is similar to the one above, but the offer is attractive as it doesn't cost anything for your twitter followers. 3. The third and last tip is perhaps the best: make money with twitter by giving away a freebie, e.g. a report, ebook, video etc. in return for people entering their email address in your opt-in box. So you send a tweet with a link to your freebie, and build an email list. Then you can market to that list later. Making money from your list is more effective than direct sales to twitter traffic, even though that has worked for me. There is one important thing. For any or all of the above methods to work, you need to get a large enough amount of targeted (like-minded) twitter traffic to your offers. So first, do try and build up a good size targeted twitter list to be successful. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com Free Traffic Generation Tips0 comments

Instead of answering this question anew everyday, I'll post the final answer here. Here are some simple, easy, and very effective ways to generate some serious traffic to your website. First and foremost YOU have to be ready for it. YOU have to be willing to take action. YOU have to be patient and have faith. Sound too fuzzy for you? Sorry, but it's true. You are your first and biggest obstacle. Without your own action and faith you won't be seeing any visitors. So are you ready? Really? Here we go. Article Submission: This is my favorite. Whatever your niche is, golf, Pokémon cards, self-empowerment, Christian dating, people want to know more about it. I like to write and I love writing about my niche, traffic generation and internet marketing, but maybe you’re not the writing type. That’s no problem. Search out others who have posted articles. By taking the essence and ideas from these other articles, you can rephrase them into your own creation. It really doesn’t take much and with just a few paragraphs you have an article. Remember here that this is not a sales letter, but good free information people are interested in. The sales part I’ll explain soon. Now comes the submission. Do an internet search for ezines or article submitters. There should be quite a few that come up. Some will publish only their own site. Others will send your article out to a number of their sister sites as well. It is free to submit your article and when you do, include in your personal info the link to your website. Of course be sure that the website content matches the content you have written about in your article. Search engines sweep across these article sites looking for your article content, and you haven’t spent a dime for it! Press Releases: Another great way to get the word out is with press releases. Rather than information about a topic, here you are talking specifically about your own product. However, rather than a sales-pitch, your write up needs to be news-worthy. It needs buzz, it needs a reason to be in the forefront without the sales overtones. Again searching the internet for press release websites will garner several places you can go to submit your press release. This too is free, however some sites will push your article to the forefront for a small fee rather than counting on others to find you. The first option is good, the second better, but either way you can get traffic. Blogging: Everyone’s talking about blogging! If you enjoy writing about the many facets of your niche like I do, then blogging is a great way for you to get free traffic. By doing a search for a free blogging site, you’ll come across many places that you can get yourself set up. Much like the article submission sites, search engines will scan your blogs for the content they are looking for so there’s no need to pay to submit your blog to search engines. You can place the article(s) you’ve submitted above in your blog or you can write new content. It’s up to you. With a blog you can submit smaller bits of information about a number of areas within your niche and have them all available on that one page or site. Having links to your website or opt-in list all throughout the page is vital and will garner you the traffic you are looking for. Try one, try them all, but I can tell you from my own experience that these are really effective ways to generate free traffic to your website. And remember, your own faith and perseverance is the driving force behind the success of your business, so keep going! When a website is new and not getting the thousands of hits that its owner craves, the temptation is there to buy visitors or accept anyone that accidently clicks on their link. However, as soon as your website starts getting interested traffic and making some sales you will probably realize that any old visitor simply will not do anymore. Think about it: getting a golfer to a cosmetics website is almost considered a step back. But getting a golfer to a golf club review site is good. Getting a rich golfer with a terrible backswing to your tutor website is perfect, especially if he was referred by someone. So the example of the golfer and the cosmetics site is an obvious one, but it does illustrate a very important concept. Getting a motivated buyer to your site should be where ALL your efforts go to. You should know who you want to visit your website, and you should know how to market to them. Keeping this in mind there are basically 2 types of buyers that you want: Firstly there is the ‘desperate buyer’. This poor soul has a rather large problem that he needs fixing as quick as yesterday. Two good examples are people in pain and people in financial trouble. They are almost willing to accept any solution, provided that it delivers results fast. These people almost cannot wait to give you their money and they also like to get their new product as quickly as possible. Great examples of products are medical products, get rich quick programs and fat loss products. The correct way you should to market to these people is to state their problem to them first. This serves a dual purpose; firstly it reinforces the problem to them, reminding them of it and then making them acutely aware of it, and secondly it shows them that you understand this terrible situation that they are in. Ever noticed how easily someone follows advice when the person giving the advice is a perceived expert or has had firsthand experience in the matter? You know, something in the line of ‘I was so fat I used to block out the sun, but after the first week of using Fat Tazer all the girls in my building started asking ME out’. Just make sure it stays believable. The second is the passionate buyer. This guy owns almost all of the available books, courses or products on a specific subject and identifies very strongly with what he has learned. That why they say that it’s easier to market to someone that has already proved himself as a buyer. Sadly though this category of buyers often don’t apply what they learn. They are merely seeking another pseudo solution to make them feel like they are doing at least something. Yet they always feel that they need more info or training. I would think that the correct way to market to this type of person would be to reinforce his connection to the subject. See, when a person passionately associates themselves with a particular field they create an identity around this. Remind them of the identity, reinforce the identity and then give them the chance to reinforce or build upon it themselves. If you would like this person as a repeat customer you should definitely reward them in some way after buying from you. Believe it or not but that reward may be as small as just congratulating them on their excellent decision in buying that new golf shoes, or Star Wars Light saber, or whatever. What I’ve seen is that these two groups of buyers absolutely love niche markets. If you make it easy enough for them to find your site they might come looking for you and not the other way around. Making your site visible to these motivated buyers is a fascinating study all on its own. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com Free Traffic, And Lots Of It!0 comments

Lets touch on four of the best free ways to get interested, focused traffic to your website. These four are probably the first you want to be looking at when your start promoting a new website. Their cheap, actually their free, and they work. Let’s have a peek! Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is something that should really become second nature to anyone that has a website or blog. Google loves you guy, so make it easy to be loved. Give the search engine spiders what they want to see, and you will be seen. EO can basically be divided into 2 parts: On site SEO: this is what the spiders see on YOUR site. Make sure you have all the right keywords and relevant keyword phrases on all the right places. I like to think of this as a pyramid, I start at the top and include EVERY brick all the way to the bottom. The page title is your highest point, then all the headings, main body text and finally the meta tags. And of course remember to include Alt tags for all your images too, search engines don’t care for graphics all that much. If you feed the spiders with keywords they’ll bring you traffic as reward. Of site SEO: This is more external stuff, some of which you cannot control and a good example would be the link your follower or friend has to your site, also called an anchor text link. Its nice when someone links to using your website keywords and also its good practice to link to someone with their relevant keywords. Of course the number and quality of inbound links to your site also count for a lot. ‘CNN good, your sisters Barbie website bad’ type of thinking. Social Marketing This could really bring in masses of focused traffic. Offer a helping hand, share some free content and resources. If you give people a reason to follow you, they will gladly oblige, and you’ll look like a good guy in the process, not just some slimy marketer. What I can also strongly advise this: Don’t do what other people do; you want to stand out from the crowd. It’s never too early to start creating and promoting your own brand, so do it from day one. Stay active, this is true for your blog and your profile, consistency is very important, get into a habit of updating your blog and your Facebook or MySpace profile. People like to see development. Forum marketing It’s a lot like social marketing, only forums are discussing exactly what you want to promote or sell. You should start off slow, become part of the community and offer some advice and ideas to people, not just spamming or blandly promoting your products, everybody hates that. Remember to put a link in your digital signature and entice people with something valuable, entertaining or interesting to visit your site. Article writing I really like this one, and it works like a charm. Write high quality content articles and distribute it to the masses by submitting them to multiple article directories. You will reap your well earned rewards from the back links in the article or in your resource box. Keep your articles highly targeted and get your audience to go to your site. Remember that your article will stay on the web, so do some keyword research, just like the SEO we discussed, and include it in your title and body text. So, start with these four suggestions every time you launch a new website and you could find your bank account bulging in no time at all! We’ll discuss all of these in much more detail very soon. Promise. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com Get Traffic With SEO Thinking0 comments Monday, June 22, 2009

To get traffic to your website, you have to understand how Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, works. To understand SEO you need to understand how search engines work. To put it bluntly search engines have workers and thinkers, spiders and indexers. The spiders collect as many documents as they can and brings them to the indexer. The indexers ‘reads’ them and then applies an algorithm to the TEXT ONLY, very important to remember, and awards it a score in order to present only relevant search results. The key then to applying SEO effectively is to write content with this algorithm in mind. A SEO pro could easily take days of your time to discuss the ins and outs of search engine optimization. And since the algorithms for search engines change every now and then, they might have reason to have so much to say. In my opinion SEO should not take too much of your time really, it’s always better to write compelling content for people as oppose to machines. If you remember the following 4 highlights you should do just fine in the long run. Keyword prominence is exactly what it says; make your keywords prominent. Put them at the top of every page, put them in the titles headers and in the first paragraph of your text. Apparently it’s even important to put keywords at the start of a sentence. ‘SEO I must learn’, if you’re a Star Wars fan. If you think about it, it actually makes sense. If you have a page with ‘get traffic’ in the name, ‘get traffic in the title, and ‘get traffic’ mentioned numerously in the first paragraph, I’m guessing that the article is about getting traffic. Keyword proximity refers to how close keywords are situated to each other. You must have heard of that age old saying: “Keywords of a feather flock together”. This should actually come pretty naturally if you’re writing about a certain subject. Keyword frequency indicates to the search engine that you are staying on subject and that the whole article is definitely about ‘get traffic’. This again makes a lot of sense, if you have a lot of ‘get traffics’ at the start of your article and none at the end then you may have lost the plot and the search engines don’t like that. If you constantly refer to the same words then that article is probably about that subject and then relevant to the search. Keyword density is a holistic view of your entire article and is measured as a percentage. This article is about 700 words long and ‘get traffic’ is mentioned about 10 times. That gives me a keyword density of 1.5% for the key phrase ‘get traffic’. Because spammers, and especially pornographers, have caught on to this search engines probably flag sites that have ridicules keyword densities. The recommended density for your keywords should be in the range of 3-7%. Just as a side note, words such as ‘is’, ‘our’ and ‘the’ are not counted. As you probably noticed all 4 of these SEO factors are rather closely related. And throughout this article we only used one key phrase, being ‘get traffic’. Now imagine you had 10 keywords that you want to get ranked for. If you were too concerned about SEO, you would either write something that would make little sense to a real person, or simply considered spam. I said it once and I’ll say it again: it’s much better for your readers and your sanity just to produce good and accurate content. That’s what really gets your traffic. So, in a nutshell, you want to remember: • Search engines only read text, so include at least 100 words in every page text • Use keywords at the beginning of the page, paragraphs • Place keywords close to each other • Repeat keywords 3-7 times for every 100 words • Get traffic Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com Exposing Affiliate Products through Traffic Exchanges0 comments

Affiliate marketing is a great online business. It has fewer worries but lots of benefits as compared to building one’s own online product or business. One of the best ways to promote affiliate products is through traffic exchanges. There are numerous traffic exchanges nowadays and they are considered as powerful internet marketing tools. There are various niches and most of them have their own traffic exchange system. Whatever type of product one carries, there is surely a traffic exchange program that caters to it. Joining traffic exchanges is a door to many benefits for an online business. The main benefit that one can get from traffic exchange is the driving of huge traffic to the site. This is very important as traffic is the lifeblood of online businesses. It is best to check on the recognized traffic exchanges as they are the ones that give very reasonable credit point system. Credits are the numerical value representing how many views can be allotted to the member’s assigned site. These credits are gained through surfing other sites within the program. A member gets more credits if he or she gives more time surfing. This is the usual situation in a free membership setting within the traffic exchange program. One of the best things in traffic exchanges is that one can engage with it through free membership. One can experience the benefits it can give without spending a dime. There are options to upgrade to pr membership at a minimal cost in order to enjoy more of its benefits and perks. There are also options on buying credits, referrals or downlines; to reduce surfing time and get enough credits and continuously get streaming traffic to sites. Since traffic exchange is being used by a lot of internet marketers, it is definitely a good avenue to promote an affiliate product. However, it is important to take note of the character of the individuals who will be viewing the product. The fact that internet marketers are the prospects in this marketing strategy, there are things to consider in order to effectively capture their snobbish attention. In relation, the landing page that will be used in traffic exchange must surely be enticing and attention hooker. It must be fresh and interesting to awaken the sleepy eyes of the member that has been browsing for his or her one thousandth credit. It is also best to have a free offer with this landing page in exchange of the viewer’s contact details. This is helpful in building a list or capturing leads, which will be very useful in future internet marketing schemes. Moreover, selling through traffic exchanges must be the least goal in joining the program considering that almost everyone within the program are internet marketers simply aiming to get traffic towards their sites. It has a least probability for people to make a purchase at the onset of seeing a product. They may sign up or leave their contact details to take advantage of a free offer, but not to buy upon seeing an advertisement for the first time. Traffic exchanges are a great avenue to expose products, making them popular to a group of people. It also a great way to gather contact details for future marketing use. Once details are kept and a list is built, keeping in touch with the potential customers who took advantage of the free offer would be best. Pre-selling is next until they feel comfortable with the business. When enough trust is supposedly gained, it is time to sell the affiliate product. Almost all currently successful internet marketers started with traffic exchange as an internet marketing tool. Traffic exchange is basically what its title says, an exchange in traffic. It involves a system where a member browses sites, which are the sites of the other members within the program, in order to gain credits. These credits shall be assigned to the member’s own sites that he or she wants others to see. Traffic exchange has been said to be effective since the evolution of internet. Up to this moment, traffic exchange is still meeting its main goal as the members give enough time and effort with it. This top objective of all traffic exchanges is to bring traffic to online sites, which is their lifeblood. One good thing with it is that there is an option to join with a free membership; so people can be a part of it without spending a certain amount. For a start, aspiring internet marketers can experience generating traffic to their sites through traffic exchanges for free, and then upgrade to pro membership when funds are available if deemed necessary. Aside from its main goal, traffic exchange is very helpful to an online business as it is one of the best ways to introduce a product to a group of people. The members within the program get familiar to the banner or site, which is one strategy in order to hook them to know more about the business in the future. Traffic exchange is also a place to be updated with the competition. Once a competitor ad is seen online, then it is time to check on its site and whatever possible offers they have at the moment. This can help in developing one’s business plan. Moreover, traffic exchange is also an avenue to gather ideas on promoting products. At the same time, it is a great way to be popular among the other internet marketers once a member has his or her own excellent idea that others can learn from. Furthermore, the search engine page rankings also get higher while the desired amount of traffic is being generated to one’s site in traffic exchanges. With increasing traffic every day, it is not impossible to have the top rank in the search engine optimization pages, and be the first business to click on when somebody is searching for a certain product or service related to the business. This will surely lead to having more potential customers, and increase in sales. On the other hand, there are two types of traffic exchanges, which are manual and auto traffic exchange. They both have the same goal, which is bringing traffic to sites, but they involve different systems. Manual traffic exchanges require people to click in order to start viewing the next site, while auto traffic exchanges just keep on changing sites even without anyone seeing the sites being loaded. The internet marketer can freely choose which type he or she needs for the business. Online business is a great way to earn. The biggest revenue can be reached even at home. However, certain strategies must be employed in order to be successful in it; just like in any other businesses. Starting the online business with traffic exchange is a good foundation in the industry. A friend of mine recently launched his new website on vegetable gardening. He came to me with questions as to how he can promote it without spending loads of money (that he didn’t have) on advertising he couldn’t afford. I told him there are many ways to do it and they all work, but if you do not have the means to track where your visitors are coming from then you will never know which method is working best. After seeing the puzzled look on his face after telling him that, I explained further. Before you engage in any type of marketing routine for your website, have you installed the Google analytics code on it? He said no, then I told him how to do it. You register for your free account with Google and head to the analytics page they have, enter your website information and then copy and paste the code they give you onto the pages of your site. With Google analytics set up I told him he was ready to continue on. The first step I told him he should take is to start a blog on the subject. Since he enjoys vegetable gardening there is plenty he can write about which creates content that people are looking for. Better yet there are a variety of free blog hosting sites out there and of course blog software that can be installed on his own website if he chooses to host it himself. I then directed him to a website called Technorati. This is a website where you can post your blog with other blogs in the “blogosphere”. Again it is free to join, you then “claim” your blog and post it in their database where other bloggers will find it and read it. With the Technorati account created I told him to take one morning out of each week and call it “Technorati time”. This is when he searches for blogs that are like his, visits them, reads their articles and adds useful comments to them on the subject matter. Most blogs allow people who leave comments to also leave their website and/or blog web address. Cha Ching! More free publicity! I then told him it is time to join Twitter, Facebook and MySpace where you will make friends in these social networks with people that enjoy vegetable gardening. You won’t spam them, but every time you write a new post to your blog you will add it to the bulletin on MySpace and on your wall in Facebook so your friends can see it and post a quick tweet on Twitter. Last but not least you will conduct a daily article marketing regimen. I have written many articles on article marketing and the positive affects it has on attracting visitors to websites so I referred him to those articles. I am happy to report that after being online for a month, his website went from zero visitors to nearly a thousand visitors per day and he says he is having so much fun doing it. He has met a bunch of people with similar gardening interests and they exchange ideas and tips all the time. They even give each other blurbs on their blogs. His goal is to reach 5000 daily visitors by the end of the year and at the rate he is going there is no reason to not believe the man. He works hard following the tips and ideas above and it is working famously for him and they will for you. Websites, be it corporate or personal, profit or non-profit orientated, are created for the purpose of sharing and providing information to their respective targeted audience. Hence, all successful websites share a "common ingredient, namely traffic". Without traffic, no site would be successful. In general, websites can be found using several methods. Search engines, directories, and recommendations are valuable traffic ideas. Let us explore these methods below. 1. Search engines are exactly as they sound, software that finds specific words or phrases from sites to coincide with those terms used. 2. Directories are lists of sites grouped together for ease of search. 3. Recommendations are exactly that, when a person or site recommends to a searcher another site that they feel offers what the individual will be looking for. The best way to ensure that your site attracts the most number of viewers is to ensure that it is listed on the highest number of search engines, with almost all search engines providing a way to have your site listed free in their index. The same applies to directories, usually directories aim to have more people to list with them so that they will be seen more often when people search for a specific term that they have content for. As for recommendations, this can be viewed in a couple of different ways. Personal recommendations (“John told me...”) and through the utilization of links. Although all sites desire this, there are some that charge, or require reciprocal links before allowing your site to be listed in their link section. In general, these are the most important and popular form of website traffic ideas. There are of course services available that will charge you a fee to use them, to place your site in a favorable position high in site rankings for your search term. This can give you more traffic. However, with the number of sites out there it is questionable if any service can truly deliver on a continuous basis to place your site in the position that you desire. Of the many methods that allow sites to be found the only true method is that of organic placement. This implies that the site has been found by copious numbers of individuals, that it imparts to the searcher what they were looking for and that the placement has been achieved by no artificial means, or in other words, it has not paid to be found in that specific position. Bearing this in mind, there should be no reason that, through diligent application of the three above mentioned traffic ideas that a site should not, over time (as none of these methods are instant) be found in a high level on any and all search engines, thus bringing to your site the numbers of traffic to make it a success. You can also add these most common methods and other simple on-site website traffic ideas such as opt-in newsletters, viewer feedback forms, ‘viral’ site awareness programs, affiliate marketing, blogging, video, RSS feeds, and the myriad other social networking tools, your site will indeed become a sought after destination within those communities searching for you. Set Up a Blog Capture pages are popular when it comes to setting up an online opportunity because they are so easy to make. However, they remain as static pages and you can only update them if you have experience in web design. A blog allows you to keep your website up-to-date just by posting new entries on a regular basis. This is good if you want to stay in search engines and rise in rank. Visitors can also subscribe to your blog via RSS so they can get real-time updates. As long as your entries are related to what you are promoting, you should be getting some additional targeted website traffic. Post Articles Your blog doesn’t have to highlight progress or update visitors on the status of your website. Add some articles into the mix to keep your blog interesting and again, make sure they are related to your service so people that are searching online can find your website through the articles in your blog. You can even post in article directories. The more article directories you submit to, the more targeted website traffic you get. Use of keywords that fit your site can further increase the traffic. Participate in Forums This is a great way to get targeted website traffic if the forum you are joining has a large community. If they allow advertising on the signature, you can easily put a link or banner leading to your page. After that, just follow the rules in the forum and blend in with the community by posting and replying to topics of interest. Your link will follow wherever you post and that serves as a gateway to targeted website traffic. These three secrets may seem like the basics, but they are highly effective in getting the traffic that you need to make sales in your online business. 1. Press Releases The internet offers many free press release directories, yet so many people avoid using them. These can be a powerful tool you can use to publish your own ‘news’. Once you’ve submitted your press release about your new site or blog or product, the press release directories will distribute your new to various places around the web. 2. Article Marketing People use the internet to find information about the things that interest them. Writing articles and submitting them to article directories can be a brilliant way to offer visitors the information they’re looking for. You should put a small blurb about your site or blog at the foot of the article and include a link back to your site. When people like the information you offer in your articles, they’ll happily click through on your link to see what else they might learn on your sites. 3. Social Networking This is perhaps the easiest possible traffic generation method available to anyone wanting to increase visitor numbers. Sites like Twitter or Facebook or Myspace or Mylot are based around making friends and letting them know what you’re up to. Spend a little time making friends and you’ll soon find that they become interested visitors to your sites very quickly. 4. Multi Media Channels Sites like YouTube are hugely popular. See if you can create your own YouTube channel and instead of writing articles, write short scripts that still give people the information they want but offered in video-clip format instead of article text. This can be a hugely effective way to build up large followers of people who will all become targeted visitors to your sites. So if you’re working on making your online business into a success, then you can’t go past these four simple yet effective traffic generating options.
